Access is only by boat shuttle through the Gbah river and mangroves, departing every hour from Marshall City, Margibi County, adjacent right to the Liberia Maritime Training Institute. Our entire resort is eco friendly, built in harmony with the natural environment, and is also a natural wildlife sanctuary and reserve of 150 acres.
Kokon Ecolodge & Reserve is a family owned business, which was born from a one-day family adventure and our discovery by chance of this wild and beautiful peninsula, immersed into nature and surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean, an intact tropical forest teaming with wildlife and a crystal clear natural lagoon.

Opening Hours….We’re open Thursday to Monday, from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm for daily entrance, and throughout for lodging (Guest must arrive before 6:30 pm latest).
Find Us…
We are located 40 minutes from Monrovia, and 40 minutes from the Roberts International Airport. On the Roberts International Airport highway, take the exit to Marshall and get on the Marshall highway for 20km until you reach to Marshall City. At the end of the road, follow the blue Kokon Ecolodge direction board on your right. Welcome to our departure base.

Kokon is an ecolodge, built and operated in harmony with nature. We are open daily from 8am. Please see details on the left. This entrance fee includes the transfer from Marshall and back by boat and electric golf kart
