Willia Jean Thomas (Elder)
Mother of two sons and six grandchildren, Jean attended Harold Washington College where she majored in English.
Having the gift of writing, her talent was noticed by many of peers, which earned her a feature in their college publication, The Garland Court Review, and listed among the ‘Who’s Who’, In the Scholastic All American Yearbook. Besides being an accomplished writer, Ms. Thomas has a God blessed talent of sewing, utilizing her special gift to operate a custom sewing business in her hometown, Chicago, Illinois. On (4/8/88), Mrs. Thomas was ordained a minister. She ministered in various Jails, Penitentiary, and Street Ministries for ’38’ years before retiring.. Today, she ministers in a Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Center. During her spare, Jean enjoys liturgical dancing and reading. Ms. Thomas is excited to be a part of the ‘LIBSPOT’ family.
